Questions parents and adult beginners ask
Everything you need to know before your first piano lesson.
Is it too late for my child (or me) to start piano?
No. We teach beginners of every age, from young children to adult beginners starting for the first time.
Do we need a piano at home?
A piano or keyboard at home helps with practice between lessons, but many families add one once lessons are underway.
How long are lessons and what do they cost?
Lessons run 30 minutes ($38) or 45 minutes ($52), one-to-one with your teacher.
Do you prepare students for exams?
Yes, we offer Royal Conservatory exam preparation for students who want to work toward a grade.
Where are lessons held?
At our studio on Kensington Road NW, Calgary.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 2pm to 9pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm.
Do you teach other instruments too?
Yes, alongside piano we teach guitar, voice, drums and violin, all one-to-one.
